Okay, maybe Iām talking a bit much about myself here ā but I just wanted to share something Iām proud of. Last Sunday, I finished the Ironman 113km race in Shanghai, and to my surprise, I came 2nd in my age group (yes, not the youngest category anymore š).
The biggest difference this time? My swimming pace improved ā from 1:55 per 100m to 1:42. That might not sound huge, but in triathlon, itās massive. And the trick? During a training session using the Rayofi SwimComm headset, a friend spoke to me while I was in the water and told me to stop moving my head so much and just look down. Simple advice, given in real time ā and it really worked. That kind of instant feedback from someone faster than me made all the difference.
Next stop: Ironman World Championships in Marbella this November. Letās see what happens there!
