How does it stream music underwater?

You're right — regular Bluetooth dies the moment it hits water. SwimComm doesn't use Bluetooth to reach you underwater. It comes with the Rayofi T6 transmitter that you place at the edge of the pool. Your phone connects to the transmitter via Bluetooth, which then broadcasts your audio on a dedicated radio frequency that travels through water up to 100 meters. Your phone stays dry on the deck, and you hear whatever's playing — Spotify, podcasts, anything — clearly underwater. No downloads, no file transfers.

Will it actually stay on while I'm swimming?

The headset uses bone conduction and sits on the outside of your ear — nothing goes inside your ear canal, so there's nothing to fall out or get dislodged. It's designed to stay put through flip turns, hard push-offs, and open water. Waterproof rated IPX68 to 3 meters depth.

Does the sound quality hold up underwater?

SwimComm uses bone conduction — instead of pushing sound through air into your ear canal (which water blocks), it sends vibrations through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear. The result is clear, consistent audio whether your head is above or below the surface. Your ears also stay open, so you remain aware of your surroundings.

Does it work in open water, not just pools?

Yes. The transmitter has a 100 meter range, so as long as it's poolside or on a nearby kayak or boat, you'll have live streaming throughout your swim. The transmitter's 3000mAh battery gives you up to 5 hours, and the headset itself lasts up to 15 hours per charge.

STREAM ANYTHING. SWIM ANYWHERE.

HOW IT WORKS

NOT BLUETOOTH. RADIO

Regular Bluetooth dies the moment you go underwater. SwimComm uses a dedicated radio signal that travels through water — up to 100 meters. Your phone stays dry on the deck.

YOUR MUSIC. LIVE. UNDERWATER.

No downloads, no file transfers. Whatever's playing on your phone — Spotify, podcasts, a coaching call — transmits to your headset in real time while you swim.

SOUND THROUGH YOUR BONES, NOT YOUR EARS.

Bone conduction bypasses the ear canal entirely. The headset sits on your cheekbones and sends vibrations directly to your inner ear — so it works even with your head fully submerged.

BUILT FOR THE WATER. EVERYTHING ELSE IS EXTRA.

The swim audio system. Engineered for how swimming actually works.

Live Streaming Underwater

SwimComm connects to your phone via the T6 transmitter, which broadcasts your audio on a dedicated radio frequency through water. Whatever's on your phone — Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts — plays in your ears in real time. No downloads, no playlist prep, no limits.

100 Meter Range

The T6 transmitter sits at the pool edge and reaches up to 100 meters. That covers any lap pool, open water training, or triathlon prep without a single dropout. Park it on the deck and forget it's there.

Bone Conduction. Open Ears.

The headset doesn't go in your ear — it sits on your cheekbones and sends vibrations directly to your inner ear. Your ears stay open, so you can still hear the environment around you. Sound stays consistent whether your head is above or below the surface.

15 Hours. One Charge.

The headset runs for up to 15 hours. The T6 transmitter holds 5 hours on its 3000mAh battery. Long course, open water marathon, back-to-back sessions — you won't be cutting a swim short because of battery.

TRUSTED BY OLYMPIANS
Meet Janna van Kooten
Dutch Olympic swimmer European champion.

"At the volume I train, silence isn't meditation it's the thing between me and my next session. SwimComm fixes that."

- Janna van Kooten

The highest level of the sport. She uses Rayofl SwimComm for two reasons.

Music, streamed live

Long aerobic sets, early mornings, recovery laps. Her playlist streams from her phone — no downloads, no file prep

Real-time coach comms

Her coach cues her mid-lap from the deck using the T6 transmitter. Feedback lands in the moment — not after the set.

If it works for an Olympian preparing for Paris, it'll work for your Tuesday morning swim.

Built by Athletes.
Built for Real Life.

At Rayofi, we believe time is the one thing you can't get back, so everything we build is designed to help you use it better.

I'm Johnny, triathlete and endurance athlete. Long hours running, biking, and swimming left little room for the gym. And the gym never felt built for people like me, people with a sport, a schedule, and a life that doesn't pause for a 90-minute lifting session. So I built something that did.

The Go-Tone started as a prototype tested in my own training. Refined version after version until it became something I used every single week without thinking about it. Then came SwimmComm, waterproof earphones that stream music or live coaching mid-lap, because real-time feedback while swimming shouldn't be impossible.

Rayofi exists to make serious training more flexible, more efficient, and more human. We're just getting started.

FAQs

Everything you want to know before you order.

Does this actually work underwater? I thought Bluetooth can't penetrate water.

Yes — and if you want more, the Dual Bundle gives you up to 132 lbs combined. But here's why even the single device challenges most people: Go-Tone's motor-controlled resistance with eccentric overload means both phases of every movement are fully loaded. Most people have never trained with true eccentric resistance before. Combined with constant tension through the full range of motion, 66 lbs on Go-Tone will challenge you more than you expect. For those who train heavy or want the complete dual-cable station experience, two devices running simultaneously gets you to 132 lbs — and replicates a full commercial cable setup at home.

Will the headset fall off during flip turns or hard swimming?

No. It clips onto your goggle strap or sits under your swim cap and stays put regardless of how hard you swim. It uses bone conduction, so nothing goes inside your ear — there's nothing to dislodge.

Do I need to download my music beforehand?

No. That's the point. Whatever is playing on your phone streams live to your headset — Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts, anything. No file transfers, no prep, no limitations on what you can listen to.

Can a coach use this to talk to a swimmer in real time?

Yes. The T6 transmitter has a push-to-talk button. The coach speaks into the transmitter on deck and the swimmer hears it instantly through the headset underwater. No delay, no waiting until the end of the set.

How long does the battery last?

The headset runs up to 15 hours on a single charge. The T6 transmitter lasts up to 5 hours on its built-in 3000mAh battery. Both recharge via USB.

What if the sound cuts out mid-swim?

The system has a 100 meter range and 9 selectable channels to avoid interference. If you experience any dropout, switching channels on the T6 takes seconds. Most users never need to.

Does it work in open water, not just pools?

Yes. As long as the transmitter is within 100 meters — on a kayak, a boat, or held by someone on shore — you'll have live streaming. If you're swimming solo without support, the headset also works as a standard Bluetooth headphone above water.

What if I'm not happy with it?

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If it doesn't work for your swimming setup, contact us and we'll sort it out — no hoops, no hassle.
